Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your access to WTWatch, ensuring a reliable and respectful space for discovering streaming releases and editorial watchlists.

Eligibility and account security

You must be at least 16 years old to create a WTWatch account. Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.

Use of WTWatch content

All curated watchlists, editorial content, and design elements are owned by WTWatch. You may share links and snippets for personal, non-commercial use with attribution. Republishing full articles, database exports, or proprietary assets without permission is not allowed.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. Prohibited activities include:

Scraping, bulk downloading, or reverse engineering our databases or APIs.
Automated account creation, impersonation, or attempts to bypass authentication.
Posting defamatory, abusive, or unlawful material through any WTWatch feature.
Using WTWatch content for commercial services, competing products, or paid newsletters without our written consent.

User contributions

When you submit feedback, ideas, or data to WTWatch, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content to improve the service. You confirm you have the right to share the material and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.

Disclaimers

WTWatch provides streaming availability data and release schedules on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee accuracy or continuous availability. Streaming platforms may change listings without notice. WTWatch is not liable for direct or indirect losses arising from reliance on the service.

Third-party services

WTWatch integrates services such as Google Analytics, CoolLikes, and Mailchimp to deliver core functionality and communications. Your use of the platform is also subject to the applicable third-party terms, including the Google Analytics Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy, the CoolLikes Terms of Service, and the Mailchimp Privacy Statement. We rely on providers like Vercel for hosting and content delivery; their infrastructure usage is governed by their respective policies.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, attempt to compromise security, or misuse WTWatch for commercial scraping or spamming. You may close your account at any time from Account settings.

Content takedown and complaints

If you believe material on WTWatch infringes your copyright or other rights, send a detailed notice to legal@wtwatch.in with the URL, description of the content, and proof of ownership. We review every complaint and, where appropriate, remove or restrict access to the reported material.

Misrepresenting that content infringes your rights may expose you to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Kochi, Kerala, subject to applicable consumer protections.

International users

WTWatch may be accessed worldwide. You are responsible for complying with local laws, and you agree that your use of WTWatch does not violate any applicable regulations in your jurisdiction. Content may not be available in all countries, and we do not guarantee availability outside India.

Email communications

By joining WTWatch mailing lists or account notifications, you consent to receive newsletters, release calendars, and transactional messages from us. We send these through Mailchimp and comply with applicable anti-spam laws.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in each email or by contacting privacy@wtwatch.in. You can also manage notifications from your WTWatch Account settings, including disabling newsletters while keeping security or transactional updates. Opting out of marketing emails will not affect essential account communications such as security alerts or account recovery instructions.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we make substantial changes, we will post the updated terms on this page, adjust the “Last updated” date above, and provide notice by email or an in-app banner before the changes become effective. Continued use of WTWatch after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
